6-8 cups chopped organic vegetables (carrots, celery, onion, cauliflower, cabbage, rutabaga, broccoli, zucchini, etc)
1 large can diced tomatoes
4 cloves chopped organic garlic
1/2 cup chopped fresh organic basil
1 head chopped organic kale
1-3 inch piece wakame
1 can chickpeas, drained
1 can black soybeans, drained
1 can navy beans, drained
12 cups water
2 tbsp. sea salt
2 tbsp. tamari
1 tsp. dried oregano
1 tsp. dried basil
1 tsp. dried thyme
1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
Throw everything into the pot except for kale and basil. Bring to a boil and let simmer until vegetables are tender. Throw in kale and basil and let simmer for approx. 5 minutes.
