I had always added a little maple syrup to my whipping cream, until my daughter Emily served this one day to guests, including me. We all loved it, with no sweetener. The flavour of unsweetened quality whipped cream is wonderful—but quality is the catchword. Only the best whipping cream can result in the flavour you want, and that comes from organic cream from small but progressive farms with only the best feeding practices. And that is the cream I always choose. The flavour and texture combination is delightful, the glucose impact minimal, and the investment of time about as low as you can get. Enjoy!

Nutrition Tip: Food produced with flavour is full of nutrients - a pleasure for your body as well as your palate! Organic whipping cream, from a small producer, is your best choice for flavour and nutrients.
This recipe is also diabetic-friendly! Just a few blueberries along with unsweetened whipped cream and dark chocolate is a combination that won’t spike your blood sugar (or cause heart disease), but it will bring a smile to your face.
