Lemon & Dill Tangy Tuna Goat Cheese Spread

An excellent spread for sandwiches or as an appetizer.

This is not your typical tuna salad, Many canned tuna products can contain added ingredients, but with Raincoast canned tuna you can rest easy knowing there are only two ingredients - Albacore tuna and sea salt. Combined with creamy goat cheese and flavourful herbs this takes your tuna spread to  a whole new level.  

1 can Raincoast whole white tuna
1 cup chèvre
2 tbsp. organic lemon juice
1/2 tsp. dried dillweed OR 1 tbsp. fresh
1/2 tsp. Herbamare
1/4 cup organic green onion, finely chopped

Drain tuna and flake with a fork. In a bowl combine tuna and remaining ingredients and stir to combine. If using as a dip, place in a nice serving bowl and serve with crackers. if using as a spread, cover and refrigerate. Makes an excellent spread for celery sticks or crackers.
