Red yeast rice is derived from rice fermented with a specific type of yeast called Monascus purpureus. It contains natural compounds called monacolins that help lower low-density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol, as excessive levels can be harmful. It also inhibits the production of HMG-CoA, a critical molecule that leads to the production of cholesterol.
In addition to 300mg of red yeast rice, CanPrev’s Red Yeast Rice Complex includes other ingredients that help with overall maintenance and support of cardiovascular health. CoQ10 ubiquinol plays a valuable role in maintaining heart health by reducing oxidative stress and converting food into energy. Added vitamin C enhances the absorption of CoQ10 while also providing beneficial antioxidants. A low dose of vitamin D3 offers a protective effect by improving the lining of blood vessel walls, while choline helps to reduce inflammation and prevent the accumulation of fats in the liver. Red Yeast Rice Complex with Coenzyme Q10 helps to maintain and support cardiovascular health. Coenzyme Q10 and vitamin C are antioxidants for the maintenance of good health. Vitamin D and vitamin C are factors in the maintenance of good health.
Directions:
Adults - Take one (1) capsule, two (2) per day with meals, or as directed by a healthcare practitioner. Consult a healthcare practitioner for use beyond 24 weeks.
