DC Team Member

Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Distribution support – order selection, packing, and assembly of store orders
  • Receiving – product receiving and product sortation of inbound orders
  • Shipping – preparing outbound orders and store pallet shipments
  • Inventory – rotation of stock, ensuring inventory is accurate
  • Use of WMS (Warehouse Management Software)
  • General housekeeping and cleaning duties in the distribution center
  • Work closely with other team members, supervisor and Logistics Manager; strive to maintain the highest fill rate and quality of service to our stores
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Summary:

The Distribution Center team member is responsible for the accuracy and efficiency of shipping, receiving, order selection and stocking of Goodness Me healthy and delicious products. This role is an integral part of the supply chain team working under the direction of the Logistics supervisor.


  • Experience in Distribution, Warehousing and logistics or equivalent
  • Strong communication (verbal and written), problem solving, analytical with a focus on continuous improvements
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to lift-up to 50 pounds (23kgs)
  • Ability to perform physical activity at a sustained pace, including standing for 8+ hours, walking, climbing, pushing, reaching, pulling  
  • Demonstrated history of good attendance; dependable and reliable
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be a self-starter and able to work independently
  • Previous ERP Software (SAP, JDA, Gold) is an asset
  • Previous retail experience is an asset
  • Post-secondary education, preferably in Supply Chain or Logistics Management
  • 1+ years of related experience
