Yes, it’s different. And amazing. Read so many reviews of people dissatisfied with this product. It’s the only frankincense I will use, the aroma is much richer and fragrant, than the other piney essentials . I dissolve it into olive oil and beeswax for body products. The scent lasts all day, like ancient royalty. I love it.

Not essential oil I only read the description before ordering and was very disappointed to realize on arrival that it is not the product described. Wish I had seen the other review since it was oil I was looking for.

resin extract, not steam distilled Very good and efficient product. IT IS NOT A STEAM DISTILLED ESSENTIAL OIL from resin as many other frankincense essential oils are. It is a RESIN EXTRACT. Read carefully the product tag. It is a tincture, that means Frankincense resin (Frankincense tears) dissolved in alcohol, not steam distilled. That's why is sticky.That's why it is very efficient, because all boswellic acids stay in the extract. All the best.
