Food is best when it's shared with others, so make this warm and cozy soup to bring everyone together!
Place turnip or rutabaga, apples, carrot, potato and onion in stock pot. Add in garlic, butter or coconut oil, salt, tamari and water. Bring to a boil and let simmer until tender. This will take about an hour. If water gets too low, add more. Take out a piece of the turnip (or rutabaga) and make sure it is tender. Puree the soup. Add in the milk and maple syrup. Stir well and season with pepper.
