Quick Pickled Onion & Garlic Aioli

We’re serving up local and grilling a burger made from ingredients found so close you can taste it! Made with a fresh buttery Ace Bakery brioche bun from Mississauga, topped with a humanely raised, grass-fed local beef patty, some tangy Good Food For Good bbq sauce made in Markam, a couple slices of the best Goodness Me! bacon from Oxford County, creamy, sharp Maple Dale cheese from Plainfield, and hand-picked Marty's pickles from Hamilton! Add on our garlic aioli (recipe below), quick pickled onions (recipe below), and some organic avocados and tomatoes, and you will have what we are calling The Local Burger.


Quick Pickled Red Onion 


  1. Peel and then slice your organic red onion into thin slices.
  2. Put all your onion slices into a mason jar or bowl.
  3. In a bowl, combine warm water, apple cider vinegar, sea salt, and organic sugar.
  4. Stir together until organic sugar is dissolved.
  5. Pour liquid over your sliced onions until they are immersed.

Set them aside for a minimum of 30 minutes.



Garlic Aioli


Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix until combined. Chill for 30 minutes before serving.
