This recipe is perfect when you need a little more get-up-and-go for your morning routine! It's got great green veggies, a good amount of protein, fibre, and fats, and delicious spices. All the ingredients come together for fantastic flavour and an energizing smoothie you'll want to enjoy again and again.
- 1 cup spinach leaves
- 1/2-3/4 cup greek yogurt (depending on the consistency you prefer)
- 1/2 cup almond milk
- 1 tbsp. almond butter
- 1 frozen banana (fresh is fine too)
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp. ground cloves
- 1/8 tsp. nutmeg
Combine all the above ingredients in one blender or magic bullet. Blend until smooth and you've reached the consistency you desire. Pour into a glass and drink to your heart's content! Enjoy!
