Chocolate Peppermint Power Smoothie


We all need a break from the predictable.  This holiday season try swapping your regular protein shake for one with some festive flare!  Loaded with vitamins, antioxidants and minerals—this smoothie will both satisfy seasonal cravings and give your body the nourishment it needs!  To make the most out of any smoothie, be sure to add a source of healthy fats like we did with a ripe avocado.  This will leave you feeling full longer into the day and also help stabilize your blood sugar.   Some other healthy fat options for you to consider adding to your smoothie include Udo’s oil or coconut oil. ½ ripe organic avocado

1 Tbsp. Cocoa Camino cocoa powder

1 scoop vanilla protein powder (of your choice)

½ tsp pure peppermint extract

1 can full fat coconut cream or milk



Place ingredients in blender bowl. Blend on

high unti l mixture is creamy. If it is too thick

for you, add a little water. Pour into glass.
