It’s 2019, and if you want to spend Valentine’s Day eating chocolate, having a night full of relaxation, and watching your favourite romantic comedies – we support that! Here at Goodness Me! we have compiled a list of our Valentine’s Day favourites that can be enjoyed solo, or with your partner in crime. Our product of choice for Valentine’s Day is the Theo “Salted Black Licorice 70% Dark Chocolate” and “My Cherry Baby 45% Milk Chocolate”. These Valentine’s themed flavours are too cute to ignore, and they taste delicious to boot! The “Salted Black Licorice” has the full-bodied taste of licorice with just the right amount of sea salt added. While the “My Cherry Baby” is the perfect medley of sweet and tart! These bars are also organic, soy free, and gluten-free. So indulge in this guilt-free goodness and start your night in off right.

Wax & Fire Co. Candles

Need a fabulous Valentine’s Day gift? Or just want to enter relaxation mode? The Wax & Fire Co. candles are our favourite! These candles were developed by an aromatherapist to convey feelings of love, peace, calm, and nostalgia. We can 100% confirm that they that they did an excellent job. These candles are a perfect way to escape all your stress and calm down. Our personal favourites include the scents “Tobacco & Leather” and “Canadian Maple”. The Tobacco & Leather scent is a delicious warm and cozy scent with notes of vanilla, musk, and sandalwood – just as if you were wrapped up in an old leather jacket. While the Canadian Maple scent transports you to Canadian Spring when the snow has started to melt. With notes of butterscotch, caramel, and crème brulee, you’ll want to eat this candle right up! A fun fact to add: Wax & Fire Co. was created in Hamilton, just like Goodness Me! and the candles are still hand crafted in Hamilton. Pukka Love Tea

Nothing makes your heart flutter quiet like a warm cup of tea on a cold day. Pukka has created the perfect blend of heart-warming tea, with a blend of organic rose, chamomile, and lavender that fills you up with warmth and calmness from head to toe. Pukka’s love tea is the perfect drink to enjoy with a night filled with Netflix and blankets, whether that’s solo or with your significant other. Nutiva Chocolate Hazelnut Spread

When I think of Valentine’s Day, I think of indulging in some of your favourite treats. How can you not when you’re surrounded by chocolate?! The Nutiva Hazelnut Spread is one of our favourite indulgences. While we don’t recommend eating by the spoonful  (although it is tempting) it is a perfect treat with fruit! Grab some strawberries, slice them in half, and put some of the hazelnut spread on them and you’re good to go! This is the perfect snack to accompany your favourite romantic comedy – even though they may be finished by the time the opening credits are done.
