April 30th: Anniversary Day

Have you heard about what’s happening at all Goodness Me! locations on April 30^th? If not, now is the time to find out how you can take part!

Throughout the month of April, Goodness Me! is celebrating our 35^th anniversary. We first opened the doors to our original small store in Hamilton in 1981 under the passion and enthusiasm of Janet and Scott Jacks. The store was opened as a resource for people in the Hamilton community to have access to healthy food and supplements, and perhaps even more importantly, education and information about how to live the healthiest life possible. This was Janet’s dream back in 1981, and it’s remained so today.

To celebrate this incredible milestone, we have all kinds of exciting things happening in April. Janet Jacks will be doing a book and class tour throughout the month, launching her new book Share Goodness and also leading a class called the Foundations of Health. You can sign up for any of these classes here before we run out of space. Scott Jacks will also be doing a tour of classes called Diabetes: A Life Rich In Health? Yes! These classes are life-changing, motivating, and inspiring for anyone living with diabetes, on the path to diabetes, or who has a loved one with diabetes. Check out his dates here.

We will also be launching Janet’s new cookbook called Share Goodness. With over 100 brand new recipes and health tips, you won’t want to miss out on this book which will help you cook your way to health. Plus, enjoy tidbits from Janet’s past and why she got inspired to be healthy in the first place—even before Scott got diabetes. Watch for it at the Goodness Me! nearest you!

On April 30^th, across all Goodness Me! locations, we will be running our Anniversary Day, which will include the following:

You’ll get to taste and sample some of Janet’s favourite products, as well as some of the products that have been with us since our start in 1981. Plus, we’ll have some great deals and specials on anniversary products, some of Janet’s favourites, and some one-day sales that you won’t want to miss!

What would an anniversary be without cake? Our bakery is going to whip up delicious gluten free cupcakes for our customers to enjoy, completely free. You don’t have to worry about the guilt, as our bakery uses only the best ingredients with no preservatives or artificial colours or flavours. But we only have a limited amount, so be sure to arrive early!
