These organic coconut spreads are made from our low temperature dried coconut flakes. They are carefully ground so that no heat is generated and the "ground coconut" becomes a white paste. Some companies call it "coconut manna", others call it "creamed coconut" and "coconut butter". We call it coconut spread because it is used to make spreads, frostings, sauces, and other things. However, this coconut spread is often eaten right out of the jar!
