Psyllium is a bulk-forming laxative and is high in both fibre and mucilage; psyllium contains 10–30% mucilage. The laxative properties of psyllium are due to the swelling of the husk when it comes into contact with water; this forms a gelatinous mass that keeps feces hydrated and soft, provided it is taken with sufficient water. The resulting bulk stimulates a reflex contraction of the bowel walls and promotes bowel movements.

Promotes bowel movement

Gentle constipation relief

Helps with irregularity as a bulk-forming laxative

Ingredients

Suggested Use

Each teaspoon contains:
Psyllium (Plantago ovata) husk 1,945 mg,
Roselle (Hibiscus sabdariffa flower 414 mg,
Licorice (Glycyrrhiza glabra) root 52 mg,
Inulin (from chicory root [Cichorium intybus]) 36 mg,
Clove (Syzygium aromaticum) flower bud 6 mg,
Other ingredient: Stevia (Stevia rebaudiana) leaf.

Adults ≥ 19 years old: Take 1 teaspoon twice daily.
