Dessert can be healthy! These frozen banana pops are sure to please kids and adults alike, and can be custom made to suit your preferences. Try adding some shredded coconut or chopped nuts to them to make them even tastier!
4 medium organic bananas, peeled 4 wooden popsicle sticks 16 oz dark organic chocolate, chopped or chips 2 tbsp unsalted organic butter
Line cookie sheet with waxed paper. Cut 1' off the end of each banana. Insert a popsicle stick into the cut end of each banana, leaving stick halfway out and exposed for use as a handle. Place the bananas on the cookie sheet and freeze 1 hour. Melt chocolate and butter in a bowl, stirring occassionally. Take frozen bananas out of freezer and dip them in the chocolate, turning to completely coat. Tranfer bananas back to cookie sheet, until chocolate coating is frozen. Optional: rolled dipped bananas in crushed organic almonds, granola, or coconut.
