A lot can happen in 30 years, and a lot HAS happened from 1981 to today. Think about it: the internet has become a mass phenomenon, we’ve invented hybrid cars, developed a green movement to help preserve our environment, and we have the world at our fingertips through cell phones and laptops. The world has made momentous advancements in the last 30 years, and so has Goodness Me!
We began as a small store built and run on the passion of Janet Jacks, Goodness Me! founder. Janet opened the store as a way to help her family, friends, and the people of Hamilton live healthier lives by nourishing themselves with good food and quality supplements. What began as one woman’s dream has grown into a successful business with 4 locations, dedicated and knowledgeable staff, and the best selection of organic and natural products. It’s been quite a journey!
So, what are we doing to celebrate this milestone? We have a range of exciting events planned to recognize our 30 years of health, and it’s all starting in October. A month from tomorrow, from October 21-23, we are celebrating our 30th Anniversary at our Upper Gage and Locke St. locations; the following weekend, October 28-30, we will be celebrating at our Burlington and Waterdown locations. Mark the days in your calendar now!
What do we have in store for these weekends? Something for everyone! Outdoor food fairs, in-store demos and health professionals, back-to-back classes with international speakers and our very own Janet Jacks, professional cooking demonstrations, activities for kids, fantastic prizes to be won, and so much more! We will be releasing details day by day as we get closer to the events, so make sure to keep checking back for updates.
